Role description:

This role is expected to operate with increased autonomy, taking ownership of assigned Enabling Function reporting areas, applying judgement to financial analysis, challenging variances and supporting stakeholders with clear insight and practical recommendations.

Role accountabilities:

• This role is expected to operate with increased autonomy, taking ownership of assigned Enabling Function reporting areas, applying judgement to financial analysis, challenging variances and supporting stakeholders with clear insight and practical recommendations.
• Own the monthly review of Enabling Function costs for assigned areas, including personnel and indirect costs, ensuring accurate Enabling Function and GBA reporting.
• Review and challenge monthly EF accruals and reclassification journals for salaries and other business costs, escalating risks and proposing corrective actions where required.
• Review monthly salary reconciliations and bonus accruals, providing clear variance analysis, identifying key drivers and explaining implications for Global EF Controller review.
• Coordinate and prepare plan and forecast reporting for assigned Enabling Function areas, including consolidation, analysis and commentary for Group, Regional and GBA reporting.
• Own the preparation and review of Enabling Function reports for assigned areas, providing insight into variances, movements, trends, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation for key reporting activities, ensuring outputs are clear, repeatable and ready for review, approval and future standardisation.
• Lead improvement initiatives within assigned reporting processes, adopting best practices to improve reporting efficiency, quality and control.
• Contribute to process standardisation and globalisation across the Global EF Controlling team by documenting, improving and embedding consistent reporting practices.
• Act as a trusted finance contact for Global EF Controllers, Global EF Controlling Director, GBA FP&A Directors, Finance Directors and other stakeholders, resolving queries, explaining financial performance and proposing practical solutions.
• Build effective working relationships with stakeholders to improve understanding of Enabling Function performance and support timely decision-making.
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• CPA with 5 to 7 years of work experience in general accounting, controlling, management reporting and financial reporting.
• Exposure in shared services or multinational environment is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP Systems is preferred (Oracle, SAP)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization.
• Proactive and a committed team player.
• Can work under pressure and minimal supervision; detail-oriented and results driven;
• Can work on flexible hours to meet changing work environment and to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to communicate your analysis with clarity and precision. An ideal candidate would have a strong grasp of both technical and business perspectives, including project management.
