Job Description

Global Electronic Trading Service group is a core Jefferies Equity technology platform to offer cash, principal and prime technology service. Due to the tremendous demand for business growth and technology expansion in both global and regional, we are looking for a high caliber candidate to joint the team in APAC.

Role

  • Own and prioritize the GETS Equity product backlog aligned with business goals
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines and deliverables
  • Collaborate with traders, operations, compliance, and technology across the firm to gather, define and document business requirements
  • Perform business case analysis to evaluate the strategic value, cost/benefit, and feasibility of new initiatives, product enhancements, or workflow improvements
  • Develop clear functional specifications, technical requirements, and end‑to‑end workflow designs for new features or system changes
  • Facilitate cross‑functional workshops to align stakeholders on business objectives, solution scope, and technical workflow architecture
  • Drive consensus on proposed project approach, ensuring all stakeholders agree on requirements, dependencies, and success criteria before execution
  • Review vendor proposals and contracts
  • Provide regular updates and reporting to desk heads and senior management on project status, risks, and milestones
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for issue resolution, user feedback, and enhancement requests
  • Gather and prioritize post-launch feature requests and improvements in alignment with business goals
  • Maintain and refine documentation, workflows, and training materials

Skills

  • Experience in equity trading is essential
  • Experience with Front office and middle office technology roles supporting trading, allocation, or regulatory workflows
  • 7+ years in previous product management role
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives
  • Proficient in creating process flows, use cases, and functional specifications
  • Experience translating business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to build structured business cases, including ROI analysis, cost estimation, risk assessment, and scenario modeling
  • Skilled at documenting and communicating technical and business workflow designs in a way that aligns stakeholders across FO/Ops/Risk/Compliance/Tech
  • Comfortable working in Agile and high pace environment
  • Detail oriented and strong presentation/verbal skills
  • System and technical knowledge:
    • Microsoft Project, Excel, Office, PowerPoint, Visio
    • JIRA
    • Confluence
    • Data Visualization tools – a plus
    • FIX – a plus
    • SQL – a plus
