Global EDI & B2B Integration Manager

The Global EDI & B2B Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, implementation, and support of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures seamless integration between trading partners and internal systems, particularly Oracle E-Business Suite, to support supply chain, and logistics operations. The position plays a critical role in improving automation, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead our global EDI program, supporting supply chain processes
  • Manage integration between the EDI platform and Oracle E-Business Suite modules (Order Management, Inventory, Shipping, and Accounts Receivable)
  • Lead the onboarding of trading partners (primarily customers and logistics providers) and support activities including testing, implementation, and ongoing monitoring and support
  • Ensure compliance with EDI standards such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT
  • Support key order-to-cash and other business transactions including:
    • 850 (Purchase Orders)
    • 855 (PO Acknowledgments)
    • 856 (Advance Ship Notices)
    • 810 (Invoices)
  • Manage EDI mapping, transformations, and document flows between external partners and Oracle EBS
  • Monitor EDI transactions and proactively resolve errors impacting production or shipments
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Finance teams globally
  • Collaborate with partners, VANs, Network Providers, and IT teams globally
  • Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual data entry and improve throughput
  • Ensure we utilize the appropriate communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, VAN, API) for our partners and business
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and audit compliance across EDI processes
  • Develop and maintain technical and functional documentation
  • Lead, mentor, and manage EDI analysts or integration specialists

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 5–8+ years of EDI experience, preferably in manufacturing or distribution
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (especially SCM modules)
  • Deep understanding of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT)
  • Experience with EDI tools/platforms (e.g., IBM Sterling, Oracle B2B, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft)
  • Knowledge of Oracle EBS interfaces, concurrent programs, and data structures
  • Experience with EDI mapping and translation tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle B2B or Oracle SOA Suite integrations
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (MRP, production planning, inventory control)
  • Experience with APIs and hybrid integration (EDI + REST/SOAP)
  • Project management experience (Agile/Scrum or PMP)
  • Familiarity with cloud integrations (Oracle Cloud, OCI, or iPaaS platforms)
