Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the global Operational Excellence ( OpEx) strategy, roadmap, and governance framework, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and business priorities.

  • Lead the deployment and continuous evolution of the global OpEx program across all regions, sites, and functions, ensuring sustainable adoption and long-term business impact.

  • Drive sustainable improvements in productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety, and sustainability across all regions and functions through the application of Operational Excellence methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma.

  • Establish and maintain global OpEx standards, methodologies, assessment processes, and performance management systems to measure, sustain, and continuously improve organizational performance.

  • Lead and develop the global Operational Excellence organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, employee engagement, accountability, and performance excellence.

  • Develop and maintain a global OpEx capability-building, training, and certification framework.

  • Coach senior leaders, plant leaders, and OpEx practitioners to strengthen leadership capabilities and accelerate the adoption of Operational Excellence principles and behaviors.

  • Develop succession plans and talent pipelines for Operational Excellence leadership and specialist roles.

  • Support the integration of digital technologies, automation, AI, and data-driven decision-making into Operational Excellence programs.

  • Represent FHCS within the global Freudenberg Operational Excellence community, benchmarking best practices, and monitoring the business impact and ROI of improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.

  • 15+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or operational excellence

  • Significant leadership experience in global, multi-site environments

  • Proven track record leading large-scale transformation initiatives

  • Experience managing cross-functional and international teams

  • Strong knowledge of Operational Excellence methodologies, including Lean Six Sigma, TPM, VSM, DMAIC, A3, 8D, FMEA, and Hoshin Kanri.

  • Proven ability to lead transformation, change, and performance improvement initiatives in complex organizations.

  • Strong leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, and talent development skills.

  • Strategic, data-driven, and globally minded professional with excellent communication skills and business acumen.

  • Excellent written & verbal English skill

As a Global Role, the position can be based at any FHCS location, subject to business needs and local organizational requirements
