This job is responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Key responsibilities include developing a technology strategy, ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards, promoting design, engineering, and organizational practices, and advocating and advancing modern, Agile solution delivery practices. The individual will serve as a senior member of the Global Design Engineering function within the Network Deployment and Execution team. This role is responsible for developing technical solutions, ensuring conformance to global network standards, and building effective relationships with key stakeholders. The position produces holistic network designs for Network Services initiatives and documents detailed low‑level solutions. This role is critical to ensuring delivery quality, network stability, and alignment with Network Standards, working closely with Product Architecture and Engineering to drive client satisfaction.
The technology focus spans the breadth of Network Services supporting data network connectivity. The individual is expected to be well‑versed in a wide range of networking protocols, technologies, design principles, and project execution disciplines. Leveraging automation to solve historically manual challenges is a key element of the role. All work must align with current and approved Network Services Standards, Change Management Policies & Procedures, governance, and corporate policies.
This position will interface with internal stakeholders, external suppliers/providers, architecture teams, product engineering, product management, and Service Engagement. Periodically, the role may interact with senior leadership. Strong communication, technical depth, and problem‑solving skills are essential. The ideal candidate works effectively both independently and within global teams. Adherence to standards, templates, systems, and approved artifacts is essential to the success of the role, the department, and the firm. The individual will be regarded as a subject matter expert, remaining current with emerging technologies, organizational priorities, and industry trends to drive end‑to‑end value.
