About the job
You lead and develop the global mid-term planning process, ensuring one aligned and trusted demand and supply plan across regions and product groups. By bringing together stakeholders from Sales, Finance, Product Management, Procurement, and Operations, you create clarity, support decision-making, and strengthen planning performance across the organization. You report to the Head of Global Planning.
Job responsibilities:
Location and flexibility
The team is based in Fagersta, Sweden, and Pune, India, and we prefer one of these locations as your home base. We work in a hybrid setup and the position includes regular travel between the two sites, as well as occasional visits to regional organizations, typically 3-4 trips per year.
If you're based elsewhere and believe you're the right fit for this opportunity, we'd still like to hear from you. We're open to discussing flexible arrangements for exceptional candidates.
Your profile
You’ve built extensive experience within demand planning, supply planning, or S&OP in a global manufacturing environment and have successfully led people with direct reports. Comfortable working with data, technology, and cross-functional stakeholders, you're motivated by creating structure, driving improvements, and delivering results through collaboration.

Success in this position comes from combining analytical thinking with strong leadership and collaboration skills. You’re comfortable challenging assumptions when data points in a different direction, while building trust across cultures, teams, and time zones. With a long-term perspective and a practical mindset, you drive transformation without losing focus on operational performance.
