Job Description

The Global Data Steward Store-to-Ship (m/f/d) plays a key role in defining and managing data policies, governance frameworks, and data object definitions for Master Data within a global Pharmaceutical and MedTech organization. The role focuses on domains such as Quality Management, Production, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Warehousing, collaborating with approximately 40 manufacturing sites worldwide to ensure high-quality, consistent data and support business transformation initiatives.

Your responsibilities:

  • Define, implement, and continuously improve data policies and governance frameworks.

  • Develop and maintain standardized data object definitions for Master Data.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.

  • Drive standardization of master data practices across approximately 40 global manufacturing sites.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing) to align data strategies.

  • Facilitate communication and training sessions to promote data literacy and governance best practices across the organization.

  • Lead and oversee data cleansing activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Manage and execute data migration activities within business transformation projects, ensuring smooth and error-free transitions.

  • Monitor data quality KPIs and report insights to senior management.

  • Act as central point of contact for master data topics, providing guidance and resolving issues

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field

  • Proven experience in data management or data governance within the Pharmaceutical or MedTech industry

  • Strong expertise in Master Data Management, including data cleansing and migration processes, especially in a highly regulated environment

  • Experience working in global, multi-site environments

  • Solid understanding of relevant business domains (e.g., Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Logistics, Warehousing)

  • Hands-on experience with data management tools and platforms, particularly SAP, as well as knowledge of best practices

  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in Pharma and MedTech industries

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; business fluency in English
