
The Global Data Steward Quality / Complaints (m/f/d) ensures data quality, consistency, and compliance across global Quality processes and systems. The role defines data standards, manages Quality data across its lifecycle, and supports data migration, harmonization, and transformation initiatives.
Data Governance and Standards
Define and maintain standards for Quality and complaint master data objects
Ensure data compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Data Quality Management
Define and validate data quality rules and acceptance criteria
Monitor data quality and define acceptable thresholds
Analyze and resolve data inconsistencies and issues
Manage escalation of data quality deviations
Data Lifecycle Management & Migration
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Quality master and transactional data
Safeguard data integrity across systems and processes
Coordinate data cleansing activities within the Quality domain
Validate and approve migration deliverables (extraction, load, validation)
Ensure data readiness for testing and productive use
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Global Process Owners, Process Owners, and Quality SMEs
Align with IT, SAP, QMS, and data migration teams
Resolve cross-domain data dependencies (e.g. material, supplier, batch)
Ensure consistent data definitions across processes
Data Design and Business Alignment
Translate business requirements into data definitions and structures that support core Quality processes
Successfully completed university degree in information management, life sciences, or related field
Experience in data governance or master data management
Experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Strong functional knowledge of SAP QM module
Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or a similarly GxP-regulated industry
Experience with data cleansing and data migration processes
Experience collaborating with global, multi-site organizations with exposure to Quality, Production, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Warehousing domains
Strong knowledge of core Quality processes, including inspection, batch release, complaints, deviations, change management, stability studies, calibration, and supplier management
Experience in global transformation or system implementation projects
Experience with SAP Solution Manager for requirements management, Signavio for business process modelling, and Aperture Data Studio for data profiling is desirable
Proficient in English
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in cross-functional and international teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
