Job Description

The data centers and hydrogen commercialization manager will lead strategically the segments as well as engage in the development of opportunities for the Aeroderivative business in the data centers and hydrogen segments. The role will include working with customers to develop projects into a pipeline of convertible opportunities; and engage with regional commercial and marketing teams to win new orders and maintain and report regular market knowledge in the said segments.

Roles and Responsibilities

As the Global Aero data centers and hydrogen commercialization manager, you will:

· Lead the development and strategic support of the data centers , hydrogen and grid firming segments.

· Develop new opportunities in conjunction with regional sales and the sales swat teams for Aeroderivatives in the data centers and hydrogen segments.

· Be open to learn and mastering new tools to model techno-economic and reliability studies for the Aero products to position them versus competition in the said segments.

· Engage with GE Vernova internal teams to serve the Aero business in the data centers and hydrogen segments.

· Partner with Aero Engineering team to support the configuration of an Aero Package and plant for data centers.

· Represent the Aero business in forums and seminars in the said segments.

· Engage with the regions on major RFPs and accounts in the said segments.

· Partner with product champions and commercial operations to support the implementation of technical and budgetary proposals for customers.

· Work with customers to develop the deals / projects and work with regional commercial teams to convert these budgetary proposals into firm proposals and won opportunities.

· Support regional commercial teams in technical evaluations of different deals and commercial closure for orders.

· Co-lead the management of major accounts in the data centers segment with the regional teams and other GEV business units.

· Collaborate with the GEV DC Commercialization team to support the plant configuration and systems in the data centers segment.

· Authoring white papers and articles to support the segments’ marketing initiatives and campaigns.

· Co-lead internal QMIs

· Lead and support innovations and patents to promote the Aero products

Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience in power generation and gas turbines within Engineering, Commercial or Sales management with a minimum of 6 years.
  • Electrical background
  • Bachelor's (or Masters) Degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to travel ~25-30%
  • Strong verbal and written skills in English

Desired Characteristics

  • Data Centers knowledge
  • Hydrogen related project experience
  • Strong project management skills with ability to drive closure and deliver results for the business.
  • Prior experience in Renewables, BESS and Hybrids.
  • Techno economic modeling experience
  • Ability to work through matrix organization
  • Other languages than English

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
