An exciting opportunity to join Intra-Asia Greater China Subsidiary Banking team covering the regional and in-country subsidiaries of Greater China-HQ clients based in Singapore. We are looking for an exceptional individual with the ability to support our clients’ growth on a global scale, deepen client relationship and continue to deliver a best-in-class solutions to our clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support senior bankers to deepen and build CFO/Treasurer level coverage for a portfolio focused on Greater China-HQ corporate clients operating in Singapore across our geographic network and financial services offerings worldwide.
- Coordinate sales and marketing for the following products: DCM, traditional lending products, payments (Cash Management/Global Cash Pool/RTC), FX and hedging products, commodities, futures and options, investor services and asset management products.
- Partnering with our investment banking team, you will collaborate to drive a holistic offering of our comprehensive Corporate & Investment Banking capabilities, with a particularly focus on providing thought leadership on debt requirements of capital structure needs of our clients in close partnership with Greater China-HQ teams.
- Facilitate the origination efforts with Greater China HQ bankers and product teams to identify, structure and deliver value-add solutions across product universe including DCM, Payments (Treasury Services/Cash Management), Trade Finance, Lending, FX & Rates, Commodities, Futures & Options and Asset Management.
- Cultivate and develop sustainable client relationship by proactively addressing Greater China-HQ corporate clients’ banking requirements leveraging J.P. Morgan’s global network and value propositions.
- Conduct high quality deal pitches leveraging well-thought account plans, tailor-made pitch books and detailed briefing memo.
- Assume full ownership in end-to-end deal execution with strong sense of responsibility and leadership.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- English and Mandarin language skill are essential to liaise with clients from Greater China markets
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or other related disciplines
- Minimum 5 year of experience in a similar corporate banking role
- Solid product knowledge across DCM, traditional lending products, cash management, FX and hedging products, commodities, futures & options, investor services and asset management.
- Strong financial analytical skills. Able to identify clients’ potential banking requirements via effective quantitative and qualitative analysis including credit & risk analysis, detailed capital structure and business model analysis.
- Proven track record in building and developing client relationships, winning new business, closing transactions and developing networks, both internally and externally.
- Strong in demonstrating credit risk management knowledge with experience in originating credit and or debt capital markets transactions.
- Display consistently high standard of personal integrity and commercial judgment.
- Display consistent and high standard of personal integrity, partnership and team spirit.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and persuasive skills. Strong influencing skills. Proven track record of managing cross cultural environments and fostering inter-department collaboration behavior.
- Existing experience and expertise in covering Greater China corporate clients is strongly preferred.
