Job Description

Duracell is an iconic brand and the world’s leading manufacturer of high-performance alkaline batteries, power cells, and rechargeables. We are the most trusted source of personal power because of our sustained commitment to innovation, producing more compact, more powerful, and longer lasting batteries.

The Global Corporate Analytics Leader reports to the Head of Data, Analytics, Automation & AI and is responsible for working across sectors and functions to develop and implement data and analytical strategies, capture reporting needs of the business, and provide subject matter expertise and advisory services. This role ensures Duracell’s BI and Analytics organization remains at the forefront of technology and delivers value-added solutions to the business.

As the Global Corporate Analytics Leader, some of your essential duties and responsibilities may include:

  • Lead an internal analytics consulting and advisory organization, partnering with Duracell sectors and functions to drive BI adoption and generate measurable business value.
  • Manage a team of functional and technical BI experts embedded within the business to deliver rapid, high-quality solutions aligned to business priorities.
  • Partner with Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) to identify analytics pipelines and solve business challenges through enhanced use of BI, Data & Analytics.
  • Ensure effective collection, organization, and distribution of data across key sources including SAP Master Data, Point of Sale, Market Data, and 3rd-party providers.
  • Establish AI-ready data standards — ensuring data assets are clean, well-governed, documented, and structured to serve as reliable inputs for AI and machine learning workloads.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines, semantic layers, and curated datasets purpose-built for AI consumption — partnering with the Enterprise Data and AI teams to accelerate model development, Copilot integration, and agentic AI use cases across the business.
  • Actively leverage AI tools — including generative AI, natural language querying, and AI-assisted analytics — to accelerate development cycles, surface insights, and expand the team’s capacity to deliver analytical solutions at scale.
  • Drive solution design and support for business intelligence; act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders on analytics needs and deliverables.
  • Provide thought leadership on emerging data, analytics, and AI trends; educate and influence stakeholders on how to maximize business value from data platforms.
  • Define measurable adoption KPIs focused on value generated — resource efficiency gains, spend reductions, and AI enablement outcomes.
  • Contribute to the multi-year IT roadmap and budget; lead talent acquisition, performance management, and professional development for direct and indirect resources.

Key Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, data design, development, and operations using leading BI tool suites.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions; experience with SAP Master Data, POS, Market Data (Nielsen), and 3PL/carrier data.
  • Technical proficiency in SQL, database logic, ETL/data integration technologies, and data warehouse implementation.
  • Demonstrated business acumen; a proven data strategist and “hands-on” implementer with strong leadership skills managing direct and indirect teams.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to collaborate across technical and business teams. CPG industry and global experience preferred.
