Your Role

As a Control Tower & Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating FVL Liner CIC operations across multiple trades, with a particular focus on the development and implementation of new trade lanes involving China.

You will act as the key interface between customers, internal teams, service providers, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless shipment execution, high customer satisfaction, and compliance with operational standards.

In parallel, you will contribute to the transformation of FVL Liner operations by supporting continuous improvement initiatives, organizational integration projects, and the deployment of new operational capabilities in existing and emerging markets.

What Are You Going to Do?

Manage Customer Operations

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
  • Ensure customer requirements are understood and translated into operational solutions.
  • Maintain proactive communication regarding shipment status, service performance, and operational requirements.
  • Build strong customer relationships and contribute to customer satisfaction and retention.

Coordinate Shipping Activities

  • Manage the end-to-end execution of RoRo and CIC shipments.
  • Process shipping documentation and customs-related requirements.
  • Coordinate vessel arrivals, cargo releases, and cargo deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, customs, and operational procedures.

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Monitor shipment flows and adjust transport plans according to customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth cargo movement.
  • Maintain accurate operational data and reporting.
  • Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions when required.

Support Continuous Improvement and Transformation

  • Participate in the diagnosis, design, and implementation of improvement initiatives.
  • Support the integration of CIC Control Tower activities into the FVL Liner organization.
  • Contribute to projects aimed at improving service quality, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Promote standardized processes and operational best practices.

Implement New Trade Lanes

  • Support the launch of new FVL Liner CIC activities in new countries.
  • Coordinate operational setup, stakeholder alignment, and onboarding activities.
  • Travel when required to ensure successful implementation and adherence to operating standards.
  • Strengthen CEVA Liner's local presence by supporting business development opportunities and promoting our services.

Who Are We Looking For?

Education & Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business, or a related field.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Experience

  • 1 to 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, supply chain, or related operational environments.

Technical Skills

  • Solid knowledge of logistics and transport operations.
  • Understanding of shipping, customs, and international trade processes.
  • Experience in process design, implementation, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
