Job Summary

The Global Compensation Specialist is an integral member of the Human Resources team and is responsible for supporting the design, development, implementation and administration of global compensation programs across multiple countries and regions in compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong attention to detail combined with excellent analytical skills, as well as a sense of urgency and ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritizing multiple activities. This individual will be highly collaborative with a proven ability to support and enable others while handling extremely sensitive and confidential information.

This position operates at an advanced individual contributor level and serves as a key resource for complex compensation analysis, program support, and stakeholder consultation, without formal people management responsibility.

Responsibilities

Assist with the development, implementation, management and administration of global compensation programs, including the annual merit process.

Conduct ad hoc compensation data analysis, including interpret results; to review and recommend salary offers, identify trends and raise issues

Participate in compensation surveys and analyze external data market trends across multiple countries.

Maintain and enhance the company’s Job architecture.

Maintain salary structures, grades, ranges and compensation frameworks globally

Design effective, efficient and easy to understand custom reports and dashboards to enable the organization to make fact-based compensation decisions

Ensure compliance with applicable compensation-related regulations and transparency requirements across jurisdictions.

Maintain accurate compensation documentation and audit-ready records.

Partner with payroll across a large number of countries when needed to ensure pay-related payments.

Analyze internal and external market data to address compensation-related needs, including preparing and presenting analysis and recommendations.

Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders to provide compensation guidance and support for employee-related decisions in compliance with country-specific laws and regulations

Maintain positive relationships with compensation vendors and third-party administrators

Collaborate with the HCM teams to ensure all compensation related resources are properly updated and maintained in Oracle HCM.

Participate in HR technology implementations and enhancement projects related to compensation

Identify opportunities to automate compensation workflows, reporting, market pricing, and compensation modeling through AI-enabled solutions.

Collaborate with HRIS, Payroll, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure effective program delivery.

Participate in the development and maintenance of compensation tools, models, and standard operating procedures.

Skills/Education Required

6+ years of related experience

Experience supporting compensation programs across multiple countries or regions.

Strong understanding of compensation principles, salary surveys, pay structures, and market benchmarking.

Experience with annual compensation planning processes.

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, HR, Finance, Accounting or related discipline

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills

Strong sense of urgency with demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize multiple activities

Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and administrative skills

Highly collaborative with a strong desire to support and enable others

High integrity with proven ability to handle extremely sensitive and confidential information

Demonstrated track record of being a self-starter with the initiative and perseverance to deliver results

Advanced analytical skills and complex problem-solving capabilities with the ability to draw conclusions from data, ensure quality and accurate data

Curious, growth-oriented, proactive, and passionate about driving results

Strong business and financial acumen

Knowledge of compensation principles, salary surveys, job evaluation methodologies, and market pricing.

Skills/Education Preferred

Familiarity with enterprise HR data systems, preferably ORACLE

Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
