As our Global Communications Manager, you will lead international media relations, manage strategic communications initiatives, and help shape how Schindler is perceived by media, stakeholders, and the public worldwide.

Make an impact on our global reputation

In this highly visible role, you will:

  • Drive and further develop Schindler’s global media relations strategy while building trusted relationships with key media representatives worldwide

  • Act as a company spokesperson and advise senior leaders on media engagements, speaking opportunities, and executive communications

  • Create compelling content including press releases, speeches, interviews, web stories, Annual Report stories, and financial communications materials

  • Lead issues management, crisis communications, and proactive reputation protection while monitoring relevant social, economic, regulatory, and political developments

  • Develop impactful stories that strengthen Schindler’s reputation and collaborate across global teams to bring strategic business narratives to life

With strong influencing and relationship-building skills, you confidently advise senior leaders, connect the big picture with the details, and drive initiatives forward with a proactive, resilient, and hands-on approach.

What you'll bring

  • University degree in Communications, Journalism, Business Administrationor a related field

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate communications and media relations within international organizations

  • Proven success in reputation management, issues management, and crisis communications

  • Strong network within Swiss media and a solid understanding of the international media landscape

  • Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English and German
