We are looking for a Global Communications Director to support our team in Madrid, Spain!
What You’ll Do
- Shape the global brand narrative while leading PR strategies, media relations, and agency partnerships, overseeing the execution of commercial and corporate announcements to strengthen brand equity
- Drive comprehensive internal and external communication strategies, including crisis management, ensuring a unified brand voice across all channels and stakeholders
- Partner with C-level executives, functional leaders, and global partners to define marketing and communication priorities, conduct data-driven business analysis, and secure strategic alignment
- Oversee social media strategy and content development to exponentially increase brand reach, drive follower growth, and contribute to lead generation
- Define and implement a global PR and communications roadmap that supports business objectives, manages brand reputation, and increases market visibility
- Serve as the primary relationship lead for PR agencies and media outlets, ensuring high-quality coverage, thought leadership placement, and consistent media interactions
- Anticipate potential reputational risks and establish robust crisis communication frameworks, serving as a key advisor to leadership during sensitive periods
- Design and execute internal engagement strategies that align employees with the corporate mission, values, and global brand narrative
- Track, analyze, and report on communication performance metrics (e.g., sentiment, share of voice, engagement rates), adjusting strategies to drive continuous improvement.
What You Need For This Role
- Global mindset and cultural awareness, with proven experience operating across multiple markets and regions
- Established relationships with global media outlets and PR agencies, with a track record of securing high-quality coverage and thought leadership placements
- Demonstrated experience in crisis and reputation management, including developing communication frameworks and advising senior leadership
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership capabilities, with the ability to define and execute long-term communications roadmaps
- Experience in people management, including leading teams and managing external agency partners
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with C-level executives, Sales, HR, and Partner teams
- Proficiency in tracking and analyzing communication performance metrics such as sentiment, share of voice, and engagement rates
- Deep expertise in digital and social media strategy, content development, and brand positioning
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus

In line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, we are committed to fair and open compensation practices. For this role, the minimum gross annual base salary is EUR 93,600. In addition to base salary, this role includes a variable component, paid annually. The final offer will reflect your experience, skills, and the scope of the role.
