About the Hiring Team

The Global Public Affairs team is committed to identifying and implementing proactive public policy positions to support the business and provide thought leadership across a number of issues, including technology, entertainment, and international trade and investment.

What the Role Entails

We are seeking a strategic, cross-functional Communications and Public Affairs professional to shape global communications for a leading digital ecosystem. The role requires close collaboration with business, legal, regional teams, and Singapore-based stakeholders to ensure timely actions and operational efficiency.

• Monitor overseas public sentiment on WeChat/Weixin and collaborate with business and legal teams to develop response strategies and implement timely actions.
• Formulate international communication strategies for related business units, identify opportunities, and launch high-impact communication initiatives.
• Manage content on the WeChat Newsroom official website; craft narratives tailored for global audiences and execute targeted promotion.
• Work closely with business and regional teams to drive global promotion of key services such as Mini Programs and Weixin Pay cross-border payments.
• Maintain close coordination with local stakeholders in Singapore to support public affairs management.

Who We Look For

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, International Affairs, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, public affairs, or social media/content strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; proficiency in Mandarin is highly desirable.
• Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience in content creation for official channels, including crisis communications and proactive storytelling.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with legal, compliance, product, and regional teams.
