The position
As a Global Commercial Analytics Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial excellence and delivering data-driven insights. Your responsibilities will include:
• Conducting commercial analytics to support evidence-based decision-making, focusing on Commercial Excellence, Commercial Effectiveness, and Omnichannel (OCE) analytics.
• Analysing data from multiple sources, including sales data, customer trends, and campaign performance, to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
• Design and developing advanced Power BI dashboards and other data visualisation tools to meet business needs.
• Preparing impactful management presentations with data-driven recommendations and market insights.
• Driving continuous improvement of analytics tools, dashboards, and processes to optimise performance and outcomes.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders across geographies to align objectives and deliver impactful results.
• Supporting leadership in strategic planning and decision-making processes with actionable insights.
Qualifications
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with the following qualifications:
• Master’s Degree (preferably within quantitative/management discipline) from a well-recognized institute
• 8+ years of experience in Pharma or relevant industry with at least 5+ years in commercial analytics. Hands-on experience with BI app/dashboard development will be preferred. Consulting experience would be a plus.
• Proficient with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx and SQL, Knowledge in SAP BW is an added advantage
• Strong strategic and analytical capabilities to translate business problems into most efficient and effective analysis plan; execute the analysis including data pull, data preparation, conclusions and recommendations
• Good hands-on experience in working on commercial effectiveness datasets and metrics
• Familiarity with analysing market data, including market composition and competitor performance.
• A proactive, quick learner with a passion for innovation and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
About the department
The RareD Commercial team is part of the RareD department in P&PS GBS, based in Bangalore. This dynamic and collaborative team is dedicated to supporting the Rare Disease therapy area and driving impactful commercial deliverables for Novo Nordisk’s global RareD portfolio. With a focus on quality, innovation, and teamwork, the team works closely with Global and focus markets worldwide.
