Blue Ventures connects coastal communities restoring the ocean, providing the resources and partnerships they need to unlock their power and turn local action into global impact. We link communities with allies, knowledge and influence to create unstoppable waves of change.
Together, we’re placing communities at the centre of solutions to sustain fisheries, manage ecosystems and redefine how the world protects the ocean.
Blue Ventures seeks an experienced change leader for a 12-month maternity cover to guide staff through ongoing organisational transformation. The postholder will lead the people side of change across BV's portfolio, drive the adoption of new systems and processes, and oversee the organisation's project management approach. They will foster trust across teams, manage complex initiatives, and embed change management and continuous improvement as core competencies across the organisation.

We believe the power to restore our oceans lives in the coastal communities bearing witness to the planetary crises.
Our vision is a future where coastal life thrives in and out of the water. A future where communities have the agency and resources needed to protect their livelihoods, culture and biodiversity for generations to come.
We provide funding, data tools, training, and advocacy support to amplify community-powered change and shift national policies from exclusion to agency.
Through initiatives like Transform Bottom Trawling (transformbottomtrawling.org) and our growing network of 400 civil society organisations, we're catalysing a global movement.
