Global Buyer Digital Procurement

The Global Digital Procurement organization leads and manages the worldwide Digital Spend of Sanofi.

Within the Domain Digital, the role reports to the Head of Global Procurement Operation. His/her main activities are as follows:

ABOUT THE JOB:

Purpose & mission:

  • Develop and share with category management and customers his/hers supplier markets expertise

  • Adapt, elaborate and implement sourcing strategies according to category management orientations

  • Build a strong relationship with his/her Customers (Digital) and main Suppliers in collaboration with Global Procurement network

  • Ensures purchasing integration within his/her Customers (Digital) on a global and regional level, with the support of procurement organizations.

  • Is accountable for achieving the objectives defined by Domain heads within his/her global and regional perimeter of responsibility.

  • Build, coordinate and manage an efficient purchasing network dynamic aligned with category management functional management

  • Ensure the implementation and operational follow-up of action plans derived from the sourcing strategy defined by the category management and Digital procurement BP’s, in close collaboration with the procurement network, while ensuring that it is implemented within the prescriber / client organizations

  • Anticipate and consolidate all business needs to carry out the negotiations at global level

  • Lead global RFIs/RFPs and negotiations for Software, IT Services, Hardware and Telecom at a Global & Regional level

The position requires sourcing professional skills with a strong ability to develop relationships within and across the different lines of business and throughout the Procurement organization, including transversal / project management skills as well as management skills in a multi-cultural environment.

ABOUT YOU:

Education / Experience / Softskills

  • Experience of 2 to 5 years in Procurement, Vendor Management or Partnership roles

  • Fluent English

  • Knowledge or proven experience of the IT & Digital eco-system

  • Systematic approach and detail-oriented individual with a focus on project execution, quality, efficiency and cost

  • Good understanding of finance, business, operations, and legal aspects

  • Proven track records in leading key commercial and legal negotiations, easy with Finance and Costing Analysis

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, flexible, receptive, resourceful, creative, and results oriented

  • Assertive, high-level communicator, good organizational skills, excellent presentation skills, Team player with excellent interpersonal sensitivity

  • Confident and capable in interacting with key stakeholders and vendors (VPs & CEOs from suppliers)

  • Influential behavior, ability to convince and persuade others regarding appropriate solutions

  • Takes personal responsibility for achieving results.

  • Reviews and evaluates progress against agreed targets, timelines, and budgets.

The salary range for this position is :€49.600,00 - €66.133

Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
