Your Role

As a Global Business Process Excellence Expert – Air & Ocean, you drive the improvement, standardization and digitalization of operational processes on a global scale.

Reporting to the Air & Ocean Transverse division, you operate within a complex and highly system-driven international environment, aiming to optimize business flows, ensure alignment between processes and IT systems, and enhance overall operational performance.

You play a key role at the interface between Operations, Performance and Information Systems, ensuring that global process standards are fully aligned with digital tools and Group IT frameworks.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Map, analyze and optimize business processes related to Air & Ocean activities, fully integrating their systems and IT dimension.
  • Ensure alignment between operational processes and IT solutions (ERP, operational systems, digital platforms).
  • Identify regional gaps and lead global standardization initiatives in coordination with existing system architectures.
  • Collaborate closely with IT and digital teams to:

Define functional requirements

Support system evolutions and enhancements

Contribute to automation and digitalization initiatives

  • Analyze data from operational systems and reporting tools to identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • Design and deploy continuous improvement methodologies adapted to a multi-system, international environment.
  • Support change management during system deployments and process transformations.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure process efficiency and effectiveness of implemented solutions.
  • Actively contribute to digital transformation and global harmonization projects.

Profile

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Business Process Management, or transversal project leadership within an international and digitalized environment.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, ideally within Air & Ocean freight forwarding.
  • Proven experience working on ERP-driven environments, operational systems or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to translate operational needs into clear functional requirements.
  • Good understanding of complex, multi-system IT landscapes.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to influence both business and IT stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  • Fluent English is mandatory (global environment).
