DSV is looking for an accomplished Global Business Development Director – Technology to identify, develop, and win high-value global technology customers. This is a strategic, high-impact sales leadership role for a commercially driven professional who understands the unique supply chain, operational, and business challenges of technology companies and can engage confidently with C-suite executives and senior global stakeholders.

As a Global Business Development Director, you will expand DSV’s strategic footprint within the technology sector by pursuing high-potential global and regional customers, leading complex multinational sales opportunities, and building long-term executive relationships. You will partner across DSV’s global organization to develop integrated solutions that address the evolving needs of technology companies—from global supply chain optimization and resilience to speed-to-market, inventory management, visibility, and cost transformation.

You will operate at the intersection of technology, global supply chain strategy, business transformation, and executive relationship management, helping some of the world’s largest technology companies solve complex business challenges through innovative logistics solutions.

What You’ll Do

Drive Global Business Growth in the Technology Sector

• Identify, develop, and win strategic global and regional technology customers that generate significant revenue and long-term growth.
• Build and execute targeted growth strategies for large technology companies and multinational enterprises.
• Develop a high-quality pipeline of complex, multi-country opportunities across DSV’s global capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to expand customer relationships across geographies, services, and business units.
• Develop strategic account and pursuit plans aligned with customer priorities and DSV’s global growth strategy.

Build Executive-Level Customer Relationships

• Establish trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers across global technology organizations.
• Develop a deep understanding of customers’ business strategies, financial objectives, operating models, and supply chain priorities.
• Engage customers as a strategic advisor, connecting logistics and supply chain opportunities to broader business objectives.
• Lead executive-level discovery, strategy, and value conversations.
• Develop compelling, data-driven presentations and business cases that demonstrate measurable customer value.

Lead Complex Global Sales Opportunities

• Lead global and regional sales pursuits from opportunity identification through negotiation and close.
• Orchestrate complex pursuits involving multiple countries, business units, products, and functional teams.
• Partner with solution design, operations, finance, technology, procurement, and other internal stakeholders to develop differentiated solutions.
• Lead global RFPs, RFIs, tenders, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Develop and communicate compelling value propositions that differentiate DSV from competitors.
• Lead negotiations and close complex, multi-year, multi-service agreements with global customers.

Bring Technology Industry & Supply Chain Expertise

• Apply strong knowledge of supply chain models, industry benchmarks, and logistics trends to identify opportunities for customer transformation.
• Understand the unique supply chain requirements of technology companies, including speed-to-market, product launches, global distribution, inventory optimization, reverse logistics, aftermarket support, and supply chain resilience.

• Identify opportunities to leverage technology, data, automation, visibility, and analytics to improve supply chain performance.
• Connect logistics solutions to measurable business outcomes, including cost reduction, working capital optimization, improved service levels, increased agility, risk reduction, and accelerated growth.
• Understand customer operating models and identify opportunities to simplify, integrate, and transform global supply chains.
• Develop long-term transformation roadmaps that may include integrated logistics, distribution, control towers, transportation management, warehousing, fulfillment, and other technology-enabled solutions.

Collaborate Across DSV

• Work across countries, products, and functions to deliver seamless global customer solutions.
• Share market intelligence, customer insights, and lessons learned from major pursuits to strengthen DSV’s sales strategies and improve win rates.
• Build strong internal networks and mobilize resources to successfully execute global opportunities.
• Represent DSV at strategic industry forums, conferences, and global events to strengthen customer relationships and enhance DSV’s market presence.

What You Bring

Commercial & Sales Expertise

• Proven success in complex B2B sales, strategic business development, and value-based selling.
• Experience selling to large global or multinational organizations.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-country sales pursuits and global tenders.
• Proven ability to develop strategic pipelines and convert high-value opportunities into long-term customer relationships.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience leading high-stakes commercial discussions.

Technology Industry Experience

• Strong understanding of the technology industry and the supply chain challenges facing global technology companies.
• Experience working with technology, electronics, hardware, software, semiconductor, data center, telecommunications, or related industries is strongly preferred.
• Ability to understand complex technology customer organizations, operating models, and global supply chain requirements.
• Understanding of technology-enabled supply chain solutions, data, visibility, automation, and digital transformation is highly valued.

Executive Relationship Management

• Proven ability to establish credibility and trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior leaders.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to influence decision-makers across cultures and geographies.
• Ability to translate complex logistics and supply chain concepts into compelling business and financial outcomes.

Global Supply Chain & Business Acumen

• Strong understanding of the technology industry and the supply chain challenges facing global technology companies.
• Experience working with technology, electronics, hardware, software, semiconductor, data center, telecommunications, or related industries is strongly preferred.
• Ability to understand complex technology customer organizations, operating models, and global supply chain requirements.
• Understanding of technology-enabled supply chain solutions, data, visibility, automation, and digital transformation is highly valued.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $165,000.00 – $204,000.00 Annual with bonus opportunity to earn up to an additional $150,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
