The Global Business Development Analyst will be part of the Global Business Development within Biocodex and will report into the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) – Global Business Development.

The Global Business Development Analyst will support the CBDO to enable and facilitate business processes and decisions to become best operational practice at BIOCODEX. He will improve our dashboards/database, help coordinate and prepare for key internal and external meetings as well as partnering conferences. He will also participate on teams evaluating Business Development opportunities. This role includes collaboration with stakeholder functions within BIOCODEX such as R&D, Operations, Orphan Division, Finance, HR, Customer Experience & Legal.

Your responsibilities

• Support the preparation and implementation of the Global Business Development Strategy
• Support the overall change management initiatives and ensure appropriate timing and delivery of Global Business Development transformation efforts
• Promote key initiatives and identify communication opportunities while partnering with support functions (HR, communications, etc.)
• Improve, simplify, and ensure consistency of Global Business Development dashboards and KPIs. Track compliance with the use of the BD database
• Contribute to the preparation of the Global Business Development meetings, internal and/or external discussions and liaise with BIOCODEX subject matter experts to prepare presentations
• Participate on teams evaluating Business Development opportunities
• Support special projects as assigned in connection with the Global Business Development team’s goals and strategy

Qualifications

• Post-graduate degrees including Masters, Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biology or Pharmacy/Medicine; Master’s in Finance or MBA desirable
• Confirmed experience (24 - 36 months) in the Consulting Industry or in internal Consulting Department for a Pharmaceutical company
• Understanding of growing mid-size pharma environments
• Understanding of business development organization
• Good planning, analytical, time management and organizational skills
• Excellent leading, influencing & communication skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working alone or as part of a larger team
• English required
