Job Description

The Global Brand Protection Analyst is responsible for tracing individual bottle lot codes across the global supply chain to identify the first commercial customer to whom the product was sold, determine the most probable root cause of deviations from the intended route-to-market strategy, and provide evidence-based findings to the Global Director, Price to Trade & Terms (P2TT), who will determine what corrective actions, if any, are necessary to reduce the risk of future occurrences.

This role plays a critical part in enabling markets to independently execute their commercial strategies by identifying the source of unintended product flows that may undermine local pricing, route-to-market execution and brand equity. Through robust traceability, data analysis and reporting, the role provides the insights required to support effective governance and continuous improvement of the Global Brand Protection programme, helping protect Bacardi's commercial strategy, pricing integrity, margins and brand value.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and continuously enhance the Global Brand Protection Platform to improve data quality, governance, traceability efficiency and reporting capabilities.
  • Ensure all markets consistently report incidents through the Global Brand Protection Platform in accordance with agreed governance standards.
  • Reconstruct end-to-end product movements from manufacturing sites through warehouses, logistics networks and commercial transactions to identify the first commercial customer to whom the product was sold. This requires analysing material documents, Handling Units (HU), outbound deliveries, shipment records and customer transactions using SAP (MB51, HUMAT, VL03N), SAP BI and internal traceability platforms (e.g. Click/Reply).
  • Identify the most probable root cause of each incident by correlating commercial pricing, customer allocation, logistics execution and route-to-market data. This includes reviewing Direct Market NSV, Distributor Resale Prices, Minimum Floors, customs status (under-bond vs. duty paid) and commercial conditions to determine where products deviated from the intended customer strategy.
  • Produce clear, evidence-based investigation summaries highlighting traceability findings, probable root causes and supporting data for review by the Global Director, Price to Trade & Terms.
  • Support the preparation of regional and global dashboards by consolidating investigation outcomes, traceability KPIs, first customer identification rates, root cause trends, corrective actions and recurring commercial leakage patterns.
  • Support the Global Director, Price to Trade & Terms in identifying recurring risks, emerging trends and opportunities to strengthen the Global Brand Protection programme.
  • Maintain and analyse Grants International Trader Price Lists (customer, product, volume, customs status, pricing and product characteristics) to identify recurring trading patterns, support investigations and improve first customer identification.

Skills Required

  • SAP and traceability systems capability Strong working knowledge of SAP transactions including MB51, HUMAT, VL03N, SAP BI and internal traceability platforms such as Click/Reply.
  • Analytical problem solving Ability to interpret data from multiple operational and commercial systems, identify trends, establish root causes and translate findings into actionable business insights.
  • Commercial acumen Understanding of trade pricing, distributor resale pricing, Minimum Floors, NSV, customs status (under-bond vs. duty paid) and route-to-market models.
  • Supply chain traceability Understanding of manufacturing, warehousing, logistics and commercial fulfilment processes to accurately reconstruct product movements across the supply chain.
  • Data accuracy and attention to detail Ability to validate information across multiple systems, reconcile inconsistencies and ensure investigations are supported by robust evidence.
  • Governance and process discipline Ensuring incidents are reported consistently and investigation methodologies are applied in a standardised manner across markets.
  • Dashboarding and KPI reporting Ability to prepare concise dashboards covering investigation outcomes, traceability performance, corrective actions and recurring trends.
  • Stakeholder management Ability to work effectively with Supply Chain, Commercial, Market teams, Distributors and the Global Director, Price to Trade & Terms.
  • Clear written communication Ability to communicate investigation findings clearly, concisely and objectively to support informed decision-making.
  • Continuous improvement mindset Proactively identifying opportunities to improve traceability processes, investigation efficiency, reporting quality and platform performance.
