Job Description

As Vice President in Global Banking P&A, you will be instrumental in elevating client profitability data accuracy/ integrity. You will deliver actionable insights, oversee month-end close, and drive collaboration across global teams—upholding rigorous standards of accuracy and data integrity while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Job responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the month-end close process for client profitability
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in financial reconciliations and reporting
  • Prepare, review, and present monthly financial results and variance analysis
  • Present key performance indicators and profitability trends to senior management
  • Develop and deliver analytics to support business decisions
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement
  • Maintain high standards of data integrity and accuracy
  • Demonstrate robust risk management and adherence to policies
  • Foster a culture of accountability across the team
  • Serve as a key point of contact for business partners and senior leadership
  • Champion collaboration and teamwork across global teams

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or business finance
  • Advanced understanding of month-end close processes, financial controls, and profitability analysis
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems
  • Technical skills in Python, SQL, Databricks, and Alteryx
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Proven record of process improvements
  • Experience delivering results in a fast-paced environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • MBA or CPA
  • Experience in a large financial institution
  • Proven track record of process improvements and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
