
Job Duties: Associate - Matching, Shaping, Allocation with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Actively manage risk in real time, to protect the Firm and the Firm’s clients. Timely allocate a high number of trades and associated journals and resolve any resulting economic breaks or fails associated with it. Handle incoming queries from clients, custodians, PB, sales, trading desks and other internal stakeholders. Work on trade reconciliation, risk reconciliation, and completion of tasks associated with control around the business. Identify areas of opportunity for process improvement and automation. Document procedures and process flows to enhance controls around the business. Review daily of control reports to ensure all trade bookings and risk management is accurate.
Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with: working with the overall trade booking lifecycle including Pre-Trade, Trade Execution, Trade Clearing, Trade Settlement, and the final stage of Position and Risk Management; risk frameworks including trade and risk reconciliation; Advanced Microsoft Excel including working with macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and IF/AND formulas; business analytics tools including Tableau or Alteryx; and re-engineering manual processes with creative brainstorming solutions coupled with an eye for automation.
Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York -based position is $113,000 - $145,000.
