
Job Duties: Associate, Product Management with Folio Financial, Inc. in Dallas, Texas. Manage projects from start to finish and deliver new features and new applications to our clients. Work on complex custody & clearing product initiatives by collaborating with various stakeholders to understand, prioritize, and solve the problems by engaging with engineering teams. Build and own product backlog(s) in JIRA and organize various initiatives with concise business requirements. Engage with adjacent product teams and regional colleagues to drive product synergies and collaborate with technology and operations teams to develop new features, improve existing services, and streamline processes. Turn solid insights into problems to be solved by analyzing data to understand user journeys, increased wallet shares, identify market trends, regulatory changes, and client demands. Ideation of new product features, enhancements, gather requirements, create visuals to illustrate requirements to technical and non-technical audience. Participate, contribute, and communicate Product Roadmap planning, discovery, and delivery of product features.
Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Financial Engineering, Finance, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Financial Engineering, Finance, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience with a Master’s degree OR three (3) years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree with the following: using product and project management tools such as Jira, Journey Mapping, Working Backwards, and Writing Press Release for products; utilizing RIA custody, clearing, or securities services, and SDLC methodologies; performing data analysis to help investigate issues and product challenges using analysis tools and database models; managing and working with DTCC (“The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation”) and FINRA initiatives that impacts RIA Custody Business; engaging in product roadmap planning, backlog management, and feature prioritizing; and performing process improvements and streamlining operational workflows.
