
Job Duties: Associate, Product Management with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Dallas, Texas. Responsible for developing and delivering software applications for trading and corporate banking businesses including front, middle and back-office functions. Guide every step of the product's lifecycle working cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds, breaking down complex problems into steps that drive product development. Develop technology product strategy by incorporating user research, market analysis and technical feasibility. Breakdown complex problems into executable roadmaps to drive product development. Execute product delivery following agile methodologies and measuring objectives and key results (OKRs). Oversee product backlog, prioritize deliverables, and ensure deadlines are met. Guide the release planning including testing and release communication.
Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field and one (1) year of experience in job offered or related role. or Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or related role. Prior employment must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master’s) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s) with: working across the entire product lifecycle, from initial analysis and requirements gathering with users, through design, development, Quality assurance (QA) testing and production release; working as a product manager or with a product manager to gather requirements and create user experiences; communicating and working with engineers to determine if a design can be modified based on its technical limitations;tracking changes as part of the project management cycle; presenting to technical and non-technical staff and communicating the rationale for design decisions; developing technical product roadmaps and communicating to stakeholders; andguiding user acceptance testing and scoping test automation for engineers to write unit and regression tests using testing frameworks including JIRA or Confluence.
