As a Global Banking Deal Services Senior Associate within the Global Banking Deal Services team at JPMorganChase, you will act as a banker-facing execution partner, providing end-to-end operational support to industry, product, and country banking teams. You are results-oriented, commercially minded, and client-centric, with a strong commitment to delivering an excellent experience for bankers and their clients. You operate with a high degree of autonomy across a global, highly matrixed organization and partner closely with control and support functions to keep deals progressing efficiently and on time.

  • Own pipeline governance, maintaining oversight of key deliverables, proactively surface risks/dependencies and drive resolution
  • Ensure completion of diligence/control requirements for complex or time-sensitive deals and proactively manage interlocks and bottlenecks, in relation to (as applicable) negative news screening, ESG/sustainability-related assessments, sanctions due diligence, deal announcements, and deal closures
  • Represent Deal Services in due diligence discussions to capture actions, clarify requirements, and coordinate follow-ups across stakeholders
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Compliance, Legal, Credit, Research, Finance, Business Management, and other control/support functions to progress client and transaction requirements efficiently and accurately
  • Own end-to-end coordination of the underwriting committee approval process, including sequencing of inputs, governance checks, and follow-through on outcomes
  • Partner with Wholesale KYC Operations to facilitate advisory for new and existing business, supporting the timely and accurate completion of KYC-related activities and issue resolution
  • Drive opportunities to streamline execution workflows, reduce administrative burden on bankers, and improve transparency and cycle times
  • Own execution risk management, anticipate issues earlier and drive timely resolution to keep transactions on track

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proven ability to influence outcomes with stakeholders and manage complex cross-functional dependencies
  • Highly self-driven with strong self-organization and daily organizational discipline, able to work independently, take ownership of execution workstreams, and deliver reliably under time pressure
  • Demonstrated experience supporting execution of deals (M&A, ECM, Leveraged Finance, DCM, or Loans), with strong understanding of transaction process and governance
  • Strong risk awareness and control mindset; able to make sound judgments under tight timelines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to anticipate blockers and drive effective resolution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear status reporting and concise escalation

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience leading transaction management/execution support workstreams
  • Track record of driving process improvements and adoption across stakeholders
  • A background in relationship management, sales support, or deal execution is advantageous
