UBS is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We respect and seek to empower each individual and support the diverse cultures, perspectives, skills and experiences within our workforce.
You’ll be working within the Private Funds Group (PFG) for Investment Banking, Global Banking in APAC.
PFG provides advisory and capital formation solutions to private markets sponsors, including support across primary fundraising, co-investments and GP-led secondary / structured solutions. Within that platform, this role sits at the heart of the firm’s investor franchise — combining LP relationship management, fundraising judgement and transaction execution support across APAC.
Working location within APAC is open for discussion, with a preference for Singapore.
You should bring:
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, economics or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in investment banking, private markets fundraising, institutional investor coverage or a related role.
• A strong understanding of the private equity and broader private markets ecosystem, including how institutional LPs assess managers, fundraises, co-investments and secondary opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage senior external relationships independently, with credibility across sophisticated institutional investors and private markets participants.
• Strong commercial judgement, including the ability to assess which opportunities are likely to resonate with LPs, where processes may face friction, and how to calibrate investor engagement appropriately.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present clearly and persuasively to clients, investors and senior internal stakeholders.
• A collaborative and disciplined working style, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and maintain momentum across complex, live processes.
• A willingness to mentor junior colleagues, share market insight and contribute to the development of the team’s broader LP coverage strategy.
