Drives the continuous improvement of supply with constraint Suppliers. Responsible for balancing inventories throughout the Electronics and Wiring Plants when a supplier has capacity and/or supply constraints. Will typically be responsible for managing both the manufacturing plant and suppliers on those constraint raw material part numbers.
• Manage suppliers to resolve escalated critical supply constraints and ensure continuity of supply into Lear's manufacturing facilities
• Work with external suppliers and Lear internal cross functional teams (manufacturing, quality, engineering, purchasing) as the leader in complex escalations to drive short and long-term corrective actions
• Work closely with the commodity purchasing team to provide insight and guidance on market and supplier capacity
• Develops Allocation strategies with both Suppliers and Manufacturing plants to achieve results
• Support materials teams with escalations on immediate supply crisis for resolution
