Global Account Executive

to drive the expansion of their business with global enterprise customers, with a particular focus on overseas markets, including the United States.

This is a senior, highly strategic sales position responsible for developing and expanding relationships with large global organizations and creating multi-million-dollar enterprise opportunities.

AI, enterprise platforms, consulting, and technology implementation

.

The position offers significant ownership over global account strategy, enterprise deal creation, and international business growth.

About the Position

As a Global Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with global enterprise customers and expanding existing engagements into large-scale transformation projects.

You will work directly with executives, business leaders, HR leaders, DX teams, and IT organizations to identify strategic challenges and develop business cases for enterprise-wide transformation.

A key objective of this position is to expand smaller or limited existing engagements into large-scale enterprise platform deployments involving thousands or tens of thousands of employees.

Deal sizes can range from
tens of millions to hundreds of millions of Japanese yen

, requiring sophisticated account planning, executive-level engagement, stakeholder management, and complex deal orchestration.

You will collaborate closely with product teams, AI engineers, consultants, and international teams to develop customized proposals and solutions for each customer.

The role also provides an opportunity to contribute to the development of a scalable global sales model as the company continues expanding internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for global enterprise customers.

  • Identify opportunities to significantly expand existing customer relationships and contracts.

  • Create and manage enterprise sales opportunities ranging from tens of millions to hundreds of millions of JPY.

  • Build relationships with C-level executives, including CHROs, HR executives, DX leaders, IT executives, and business leaders.

  • Understand customers’ business strategies, organizational challenges, and transformation priorities.

  • Develop value propositions demonstrating measurable business and financial impact.

  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple departments, stakeholders, countries, and decision-makers.

  • Coordinate internal product, consulting, AI engineering, and development teams to design customer-specific solutions.

  • Lead commercial negotiations and drive opportunities through to contract closure.

  • Identify and develop new enterprise accounts in international markets, particularly the United States.

  • Work closely with global customers and partners in English.

  • Communicate customer requirements and market feedback to product and development teams in Japan.

  • Contribute to the development of repeatable global enterprise sales and Go-to-Market strategies.

Working Environment

  • Approximately 22% of employees are non-Japanese nationals.

  • Hybrid working environment.

  • Opportunity to work closely with product, AI, engineering, and consulting teams.

  • Significant ownership and autonomy in developing global business.

  • Potential opportunities for international assignments as the business expands.

  • Performance review and salary review twice per year.

  • Individual performance incentive program.

  • Professional development and certification support.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is not simply a software salesperson.

We are looking for someone capable of understanding a customer’s business strategy, identifying opportunities for transformation, and building a compelling business case that can secure executive-level investment.

You should be comfortable working with senior executives, navigating complex organizations, coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders, and taking ownership of large opportunities from initial strategy through closing.

You will also be expected to proactively identify new opportunities rather than relying solely on an existing pipeline or predefined target list.

who wants to play a key role in building and scaling an international business.

  • Experience conducting business negotiations, presentations, proposals, and commercial discussions in English.

  • Strong ability to understand customers’ business challenges and translate them into strategic solutions.

  • Experience independently managing the sales process from account strategy and opportunity creation through negotiation and closing.

  • Strong ownership and results-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to work effectively across different countries, cultures, and organizational structures.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience developing strategic account plans based on customers’ business strategies, annual reports, or mid-term management plans.
