​​Do you enjoy solving problems, working with innovative equipment, and being where the action happens? Join AGCO's Custom Harvest Tech Van team and spend your summer supporting some of the most advanced harvesting operations across the Great Plains.

This isn't your typical internship. You'll travel alongside a mobile field service team, gain hands-on experience with high-tech combines, and help keep harvesters running during one of the busiest times of the year. As a Tech Van Intern, you'll work directly with AGCO specialists who support custom harvest crews across multiple states. Think of it as a combination of agriculture, mechanical troubleshooting, technology and diagnostics, travel and field support.

Your Impact

• Identify equipment and performance issues
• Use electronic diagnostic tools to identify fault codes
• Help perform repairs and maintenance on harvesting equipment
• Make machine adjustments to optimize performance in different crops and field conditions
• Support customers and harvest crews with technical solutions
• Learn how cutting-edge precision agriculture technology performs in real-world conditions

Your Experience and Qualifications

• ​​Currently pursuing a degree in Agricultural Sciences, Engineering, Diesel Technology, Mechanics, or a related field
• Passionate about agriculture and machinery
• Strong problem-solvers with mechanical aptitude
• Comfortable communicating with customers and team members
• Self-motivated and willing to travel full-time during the harvest season
• Ability to work in outdoor agricultural environments, stand or walk for extended periods, and safely perform duties that require bending, reaching, and manual handling of materials.

Life on the Tech Van Team

The Tech Van is AGCO's mobile command center for harvest support. Equipped with specialized tools, critical service parts, the team travels north with the harvest season, providing rapid support when customers need it most. No two days are the same. One day you may be troubleshooting electronics, and the next you could be helping replace major machine components in the field.
