Job Description

Welcome

If you're someone who inspires others, owns their impact and wants to elevate what they do, you'll fit right in.

Until July 1, our business was part of BASF. As part of the current transition, all job listings and the application process are still hosted on the BASF platform and therefore fully presented in BASF branding.

Please do not be confused by this: All roles are positions at Surventis, and your application will be submitted to us.

At Surventis, we go beyond the surface - in everything we do. We put customers at the center, think one step ahead, and develop solutions that create real value and lasting partnerships.

We inspire each other to think further, take ownership of our work, and constantly push to elevate what's possible. If you bring your full self, challenge the obvious answer, and want to grow with a team that means it - this is your place.

About The Role

As a Glasurit Field Technician (known internally as Technical Sales Representative), you will implement technical, colour and digital customer solutions, support sales acquisition by demonstration and validation of solutions, development of distribution technical teams and supporting new product, digital & colour service launch within the described territory.

How You Will Do It

  • Maintain required customer and distributor visit cycles, meeting objectives, and action plans based on business rules and sales priorities.
  • Provide day‑to‑day technical, colour, and training support to customers and distributors within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct new customer acquisition demos, including digital and colour solutions, showcasing value propositions versus competitors.
  • Support sales teams in presenting technical demo outcomes to target customers.
  • Implement digital and colour solutions (including Refinity) across all assigned customers.

  • Execute system conversions, customer trainings, and technology transfers while identifying improvement opportunities and demonstrating advantages.
  • Update Customer Skills Assessment and Sales Force databases regularly as required.
  • Maintain required technical competencies, complete all training (including e‑learning), and collaborate with Technical Process Specialists to maximize customer productivity, efficiency, and repair quality.

What We Look For

  • Either hold a tertiary qualification in Automotive Refinish or equivalent spray painter qualification. Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training is preferred.
  • At least 6 years of refinish industry working experience.
  • Experienced in coaching and development, delivering and communicating information to a diverse audience.
  • Experience in using modern auto refinish materials preferred but not essential
