To strengthen our team in Latvia, we are looking for a GL Accountant!
As a GL Accountant, you will be responsible for a range of accounting activities within our Latvian group companies. You will work independently on financial processes while also supporting reporting requirements at both local and international level.
Your main responsibilities include:
Managing specific accounting processes for the main HoSt Group company in Latvia;
Handling the full-cycle bookkeeping for two smaller group companies in Latvia;
Preparing and submitting reports to local authorities and the HoSt Group at an international level;
Supporting general administrative activities within the office.
We are looking for someone who is accurate, responsible and able to work independently, while also enjoying working as part of a small and friendly team.
You bring:
A degree or relevant education in Finance, Accounting or a related field;
Good knowledge and practical experience in financial bookkeeping and the tax system of the Republic of Latvia;
Experience working in an international environment and/or in construction or energy technology is an advantage, but not mandatory;
Very good command of both Latvian and English;
Strong digital skills;
A high sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently;
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to contribute to a team.
