WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

  • Conduct sales calls and close orders with authorized dealers, identifying customer needs and aligning them with Leica products and services.
  • Advise clients on innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness in their GIS and mapping endeavors.
  • Demonstrate equipment and provide training to dealers and customers as necessary.
  • Manage territory and accounts within designated states, ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships while actively seeking out new business opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree from a technical institute or commercial college with a focus on geospatial studies desired; GISP preferred.
  • Alternatively, two to four years of relevant sales experience in GIS/mapping related products and services, or related areas.
  • Experience in Geospatial sales
  • Understanding of GIS for utilities; especially water and gas
  • Previous experience working with and implementing workflows for field collection teams utilizing Esri Field Maps with ArcGIS Online/ArcGIS Enterprise
  • Strong sales aptitude coupled with excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and email communication.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a willingness to learn and adapt to feedback.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com is advantageous. Previous experience with GNSS systems for field data collection is not required, but desired.

Additional Details:

  • This is a remote position; however, 50% or more travel to customer sites is required.
  • Candidates must reside in the Eastern US to facilitate customer access.
  • Compensation includes a base salary plus commission.
