Job Description


  • Technical assistance to
    government stakeholders on public health financial management around
    FP/ASRH

  • Project management Costing

  • Health intervention
    costing, budgeting, expenditure tracking, monitoring, review, or data
    collection

  • Expertise
    in supporting public and private sector domestic resource mobilization for
    financing ASRH programming.


Requirements


  • Master’s degree in Health Policy, Gender, Health
    Management, Social Sciences, Nursing or related fields.

  • At least 10 years’ experience working in the social development and
    public health space with the last five in project management leadership
    roles.

  • Knowledge of national SRH and RMNCH+N policies, frameworks and
    strategies and familiarization with context and objectives.

  • Understanding of the Human Centred Design principles.

  • Knowledge and skill related to the technical components of Gender
    application across health and development programmes.

  • Familiarity with Human Capital indices that drive demographic
    dividends.

  • Experience working with governments in a technical advisory role,
    especially in the use of programme learnings, research or other
    communications materials for policymakers.

  • Sound knowledge of the global and -national development and health
    funding environment.

  • Experience working with donors (including multi-lateral, bi-lateral,
    foundations etc).

  • Demonstrated experience in health systems health systems
    strengthening and skills across the various building blocks of health
    systems at the national and sub-national levels.

  • Demonstrates thought leadership and versed in knowledge management
    including generation of knowledge products for a variety of audiences.

  • Demonstratable experience in providing technical assistance
    including capacity assessment, training, coaching and mentorship.

  • Experience in providing leadership to a multi-disciplinary team to
    deliver high impact solutions.

  • Ability generate outcomes
    beyond focused programme through strategic collaborations.


  • Safe guarding A360 project works with adolescent
    girls and vulnerable young women

    Society for Family Health (SFH) is a non profit, non-political, non-governmental organisation which has interventions in various health fields, including child survival, malaria prevention and treatment, HIV and AIDS prevention, and reproductive health. SFH implements her life saving programmes in partnership with the public and private sectors and provides health products, clinical services and behaviour change communications in both urban and rural areas, especially among the most vulnerable.
