As the Gifts in Wills Coordinator,you’llplay a pivotal role in inspiring supporters to leave a legacy that changes lives. Working within UnitingCare’s Fundraising & Philanthropy team,you’llgrow our Gifts in Wills pipeline by nurturing prospects, converting intenders into confirmed pledgers, and strengthening relationships with committedbequestors

You’llalsoidentifyopportunities for significant lifetime gifts, developing bespoke proposals in collaboration with internal experts. This is your opportunity torepresentUnitingCare with integrity, purpose, and heart—helping donors create impact today and for generations to come.

Please note, this position is Full TimeFlexibility is important to us, and we know it is to you, too - this role supports hybrid working by agreement.

Your part in our UnitingCare team:  

  • Convert prospective supporters into confirmedbequestorsthrough personalised engagement that builds strong connection to UnitingCare’s mission.

  • Increase the number and value of Gifts in Wills to support thelong-termsustainability of programs and services.

  • Deliver exceptional stewardship that strengthens relationships, builds trust, and minimises attrition among confirmedbequestors

  • Identifyand secure significant lifetime gifts from bequest donors whereappropriate, creating immediate impact alongside future commitments.

  • Design and deliver tailored donor experiences through bespoke communications, recognition programs, and engagement events.

  • Manage donor relationships using Salesforce, including moves management plans, activity tracking, andaccurate,timelyreporting.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to align donor journeys with organisational priorities and fundraisingobjectives

What makes a difference for us?

  • Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies. This mayincludea NationallyCoordinated Police Check,Right to Work in Australia 

  • Membership of the Fundraising Institute of Australia

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in fundraising, relationship management, or a comparabledonor facingrole, with a sound understanding of planned giving and donor stewardship.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally and effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to develop compelling,donor centredproposals and confidently make tailored asks.

  • Excellent organisational andtime managementskills, with the ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office and experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
