Responsibilities

What you will do

• Helps with the ordering and restocking of sundries, snacks and drinks
• Models, excellent communication and customer service skills with patients and fellow employees
• Responsible for the accurate operation of the cash register and inventory system
• Prepares cash reports, and cash reconciliation
• Receives new shipments; unpacks boxes and prices merchandise
• Assists in maintaining order of merchandise displays and basic cleaning
• Maintains reasonably regular punctual attendance, consistent with Baptist Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards
• Maintains compliance with all Baptist Health policies and procedures
• Participates in monthly departmental meetings and all related in-services and PI activities.
• Observes all departmental rules and regulations.
• Interacts appropriately with a culturally diverse population.
• Follows chain of command when communicating departmental and individual concerns or problems.
• Knowledgeable of Patient Satisfaction goals. Works consistently to exceed the system’s objectives by reporting concerns and suggesting creative ideas.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent

Prior retail experience, preferably in a boutique style shop
