Reporting Line: Power Program Director Vic
Key Responsibilities
This position will drive governance maturity by establishing consistent standards, performance monitoring, and data-driven insights that enable the Power BU to achieve strategic and operation objectives.The role partners closely with stakeholders across the business to design, develop and embed governance structures, reporting capabilities and analytical tools.
Governance Framework Development & Implementation
Business Performance & Analysis
Analyse operational and performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Develop performance metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and scorecards that provide meaningful business insights
Produce regular and ad hoc reports for leadership and governance committees
Identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness through data-driven decision-making
Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
Partner with business leaders, operational teams, and subject matter experts to understand governance requirements and business needs
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder consultations to design fit-for-purpose governance solutions.
Build strong working relationships across all levels of the organisation to drive adoption and compliance
Provide guidance and support during implementation and transition activities.
Reporting & Analytical Tool Development
About You
Qualifications in Business, Commerce, Data Analytics, Project Management, Governance, or related discipline is desirable
Previous work with Victorian DNSPs (e.g., AusNet, Powercor, Jemena, United Energy, CitiPower)
Experience in governance, business performance, business improvement, operational excellence, or business analysis roles
Demonstrated experience assessing current-state processes and implementing governance frameworks or operating models.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
Experience developing reports, dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation development
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a dynamic environment.
