GHJ's office in Los Angeles, CA is currently seeking an Advisory - Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) Intern for the Summer of 2027. You will be treated as a professional and dive deep into assignments and projects during the internship.

Internship Length:

he full-time internship will be from Monday, June 14, 2027 - Friday, August 13, 2027. Note: GHJ will be closed for Wellness Week. Interns will not be working during this time, but will still be paid.

Pay Rate:

Interns will be paid at a rate of $33/hour. Benefits are not included.

Common Advisory Department Intern Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in training exercises and discussions.
• Perform research and analysis for Advisory Projects.
• Assist with the creation of deliverables for Advisory Clients.
• Develop technical competency within the applicable Advisory Groups.
• Identify problems, gather insight, and offer potential solutions on engagements.
• Actively learn, ask questions, and grow your understanding of the Advisory Practice and the applicable Advisory Groups’ service offerings.
• Actively work in and on client’s books and accounting records and assist other team members on the same including drafting journal entries, entering transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting in month end close processes and review.

General Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting (required for CAAS) or a related field graduating between May 2028 – August 2028
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Excellent customer service skills (internal and external)
• Creative problem solving and research skills
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
• Highly motivated and interested in taking the initiative for personal growth and development
• Able to handle multiple priorities, tasks and simultaneous projects
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Openness to travel to client locations with colleagues, which may include occasional overnight stays
