Job Title GFX Team Assistant

Location London

Team assistant for Global Foreign Exchange (GFX) Trading. A proactive and detail orientated approach is required together with the ability to operate in a fast paced and pressured environment.

Your key responsibilities

  • Co-ordinating calendars and schedules for the Global FX COO and Head of FX Europe to ensure efficient time management and prioritisation of engagements
  • Meeting preparation (scheduling, collating agendas and materials, printing)
  • Facilitating travel plans with minimum disruption, including planning and booking detailed travel itineraries, meetings and reimbursement of expense in line with policy
  • Co-ordinating IT requests and the on boarding of new employees to minimise set-up time
  • Proactively providing administrative support for project work and ad hoc activities as necessary (large scale team meetings, internal and external lunches / dinners)
  • Working with wider Assistant pool as required to ensure support needs are covered during vacations

Your skills and experience

  • Proven administrative experience supporting senior management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated a passion for quality and attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work, demonstrating flexibility when handling multiple tasks and think ahead
  • You will be able to drive assignments autonomously and interact self-confidently with management, demonstrating resilience, and have the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) and able to handle confidential information discreetly
