This role is responsible for performing end-to-end accounting activities, supporting accurate and timely financial close processes, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.
The incumbent will provide business partnership and functional expertise to internal stakeholders, drive process improvements, and support audits and financial reporting
Accounting Operations
Manage general ledger, fixed assets, payroll, accruals, amortization, and intercompany transactions.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare account reconciliations and financial reports.
Review account reconciliations and financial reports.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
Ensure compliance with USGAAP, IFRS, Eaton policies and local statutory requirements.
Support transitions and migrations.
Prepare financial reports, tax filings, and statutory submissions.
Take initiative to solve the accounting problems and issues.
Maintain a safe, clean working environment in compliance with Eaton safety standards.
Maintain compliance with Eaton’s Code of Ethics
Process Improvement & Standardization.
Support identification of automation and process improvement initiatives
Drive lean culture and process improvements using EBS tools (Six Sigma, BPIs, RPA, digital tools)
Document and support standardization
Support department activities related to process improvements and standard work.
Support ERP implementations and changes (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Identify and implement best practices.
Collaboration & Service Delivery
Partner with managers, controllers, and cross-functional teams to achieve financial objectives.
Monitor customer-facing KPIs, and ensure service delivery meets agreed standards.
Support team members, train new employees, and share knowledge.
Compliance & Internal Controls
Maintain internal controls, including SOX compliance.
Building Organizational Capability
Support building organizational capability
Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting
2–3 years of accounting experience (varies by location and role).
Experience in multinational manufacturing or shared service environments preferred.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
SAP or Oracle knowledge will be beneficial
Proficient in leveraging digital tools (e.g. Power Query, Power BI, Power Automate,etc..)
High proficiency in English; regional language
Adaptable to varying cultures and able to work under pressure.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to take responsibility and deliver results.
Demonstrates a strong desire to understand more, proactively seeking information to problem
solve
