Endpoint Platform Engineering role is essential to sustain both ongoing endpoint device management operations and delivery of critical transformation initiatives. This role ensures continuous management, compliance, and security of enterprise devices while serving as a key contributor to the high-priority migration project of 50K+ endpoints from SCCM to Intune within an aggressive time window. ##LI-DNI
Qualifications
The Endpoint Platform Engineer will be responsible for supporting enterprise endpoint management operations while driving the successful migration of over 50,000 endpoints from SCCM to Microsoft Intune. This role requires strong expertise in modern endpoint management, security, compliance, and large-scale deployment programs.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Microsoft certifications:
Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
Experience
Minimum 8+ years of overall IT experience.
Minimum 5+ years of endpoint management and engineering experience.
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Intune administration experience.
Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise endpoint environments.
Experience supporting or leading SCCM-to-Intune migration projects.
Experience with enterprise device lifecycle management, endpoint security, and compliance operations.
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, Autopilot, and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
Solid knowledge of Microsoft SCCM/MECM and co-management capabilities.
Experience designing and deploying device configuration profiles, compliance policies, security baselines, application deployments, and software update strategies.
Strong understanding of Windows endpoint management, patching, software packaging, and operating system deployment.
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, and Zero Trust security principles.
Working knowledge of endpoint security solutions, including Microsoft Defender and vulnerability management tools.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
Project & Operational Experience
Experience developing, testing, and deploying endpoint management solutions at enterprise scale.
Ability to support critical migration activities, including solution design, pilot testing, deployment readiness, and production rollout.
Experience providing Tier 2/Tier 3 support for complex endpoint management issues.
Proven ability to balance operational support responsibilities with strategic transformation initiatives.
Leadership & Collaboration
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Ability to collaborate with security, infrastructure, networking, and end-user computing teams.
Experience documenting standards, processes, and deployment procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing environments with 10,000+ endpoints.
Experience with Windows 11 modernization initiatives.
Exposure to AI-assisted endpoint management, automation, or Microsoft Copilot technologies.
