
The HSSE Manager shall be responsible for the overall management and supervision of all health, safety, sustainability, and environmental matters on the Project and shall report directly to the Project Director on all HSE&S-related issues.
The HSSE Manager shall develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Project HSE&S Plan in accordance with the Employer’s requirements, applicable legislation, and recognized international HSE&S standards.
The HSSE Manager shall ensure that all Project activities are executed in compliance with applicable HSE&S procedures, regulations, standards, and contractual requirements and shall promote a safe and environmentally responsible working culture across the Project.
The HSSE Manager shall attend management, planning, and coordination meetings and shall advise Project personnel on HSE&S risks, compliance obligations, mitigation measures, and implementation of the Project HSE&S Plan.
The HSSE Manager shall ensure that HSE&S personnel assigned to the Project are suitably qualified, trained, competent, and experienced in the type of works being undertaken and in the implementation of the applicable HSE&S systems.
The HSSE Manager shall prepare, maintain, and distribute HSE&S procedures, manuals, risk assessments, emergency response plans, and other HSE&S documentation necessary for the execution of the Works.
The HSSE Manager shall conduct and supervise inspections, audits, investigations, and compliance reviews across the Project, including subcontractors and suppliers, and shall prepare reports on HSE&S performance and corrective actions.
The HSSE Manager shall ensure that all incidents, accidents, near misses, environmental events, and non-conformances are properly reported, investigated, and closed out with appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
The HSSE Manager shall coordinate with the Employer, Engineer, governmental authorities, subcontractors, and other stakeholders on all HSE&S matters relating to the Project.
