The Opportunity

The eCommerce Key Account Manager – Pure Players will be responsible for driving sustainable and profitable growth across key digital pure players, with a strong focus on Mercado Libre, Amazon and Rappi

This role owns the commercial relationship, joint business planning, and execution excellence with each platform, ensuring strong fundamentals across sales, promo strategy, retail media, availability, pricing, and digital shelf performance.

The KAM will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Digital Shelf, Supply Chain, Finance and external agencies to maximize visibility, conversion and brand performance, while building long-term strategic partnerships with each platform.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

1. Key Account Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBP) with Mercado Libre, Amazon and Rappi, aligned with brand and eCommerce strategy.

  • Own P&L performance per account, ensuring sales growth, profitability and market share expansion.

  • Identify growth opportunities through assortment expansion, category development, new launches and platform-specific initiatives.

  • Lead commercial negotiations including trade terms, promotions, visibility packages, and annual agreements.

2. Commercial Execution & Retail Excellence

  • Lead promotional planning (calendar, mechanics, funding, ROI) across key events (Hot Sale, Prime Day, Buen Fin, Black Friday, etc.).

  • Ensure excellence in execution across the digital shelf, including availability, pricing, assortment and content standards in collaboration with Digital Shelf teams.

  • Coordinate launch execution for new products, ensuring readiness across content, stock, visibility and media.

  • Monitor daily and weekly performance to proactively manage risks and opportunities.

3. Retail Media & Platform Activation

  • Own the strategy and execution of retail media investments across Amazon Ads, Mercado Libre Ads and Rappi Ads.

  • Collaborate with agencies and internal teams to optimize media performance, balancing awareness, consideration and conversion objectives.

  • Use platform insights to connect media strategy with digital shelf performance and sales outcomes.

  • Track and optimize ROAS, TACOS and incremental sales impact.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Supply Chain to ensure healthy inventory levels, service level and loss prevention.

  • Partner with Marketing and Brand teams to align on campaigns, content priorities and shopper insights.

  • Coordinate with Finance to manage budgets, promotional funding and ROI tracking.

  • Act as the main eCommerce voice of the customer internally, sharing platform trends, best practices and insights.

5. Data, Insights & Performance Tracking

  • Analyze sales, traffic, conversion, media and profitability data to drive decision-making.

  • Track key KPIs such as GMV, market share, availability, promo effectiveness and media performance.

  • Identify lost sales drivers (OOS, pricing gaps, visibility) and lead corrective actions.

  • Build clear performance reports and actionable insights for internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, Key Account Management or Digital Sales, ideally with pure players.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Amazon, Mercado Libre and/or Rappi platforms.

  • Solid commercial acumen, negotiation skills and P&L understanding.

  • Experience working with retail media platforms and performance analysis.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actions.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Fluent English and Spanish.
