Roles & responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Python or .NET Core/.NET 6+ and Angular/React.
• Develop scalable REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Build and deploy solutions utilizing Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Key Vault, Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management, and Azure Databricks.
•Develop responsive and dynamic user interfaces using Angular/React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI frameworks.
• Develop and manage server-side logic, API integrations, and database interactions.
•Design, develop, and optimize data processing pipelines using Azure Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Delta Lake.
•Integrate Databricks solutions with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2), Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, and other enterprise data sources.
•Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to support data integration, analytics, and reporting requirements.
•Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical and data solutions.
•Participate in application modernization, cloud transformation, and data platform implementation projects across the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and optimize database solutions using Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and Entity Framework Core.
•Implement unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and adhere to coding standards and best practices.
•Configure application monitoring, logging, and diagnostics using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
•Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to support automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
•Actively contribute to Agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, effort estimation, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure application performance, security, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization in a cloud environment.
This role is for you if you have the below
•Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
•Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) preferred.
•Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) preferred.
•Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark preferred.
•Relevant certifications in Azure, Databricks, .NET, Azure DevOps, Data Engineering, or Cloud Technologies are an added advantage.
Mandatory technical & functional skills
•4-7 years of experience in Full Stack Development using Python or C#/.NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, and Entity Framework Core.
•Strong experience in Angular or React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
•Hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure Service Bus, and Azure API Management.
•Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, cloud-native application development, and API integrations.
•Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, Spark SQL, Delta Lake, and Data Lake concepts.
•Experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformation frameworks, and large-scale data processing solutions.
•Experience working with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2), Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and database performance optimization.
•Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, source control management, and release processes.
•Experience integrating application workloads with enterprise data platforms and analytics solutions.
•Exposure to cloud infrastructure, deployment practices, application monitoring, and operational support.
•Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment.
Preferred technical & functional skills
•Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and integration with Azure Databricks.
•Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, and Lakehouse architecture.
•Experience with Azure API Management and event-driven integrations.
•Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates).
•Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployments.
•Exposure to Azure Monitor, Application Insights, logging frameworks, and performance tuning.
•Understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Security best practices.
•Experience with Delta Live Tables, Databricks Workflows, and Unity Catalog.
•Understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies and enterprise application development best practices.
•Exposure to AI/ML integration and advanced analytics solutions within the Azure ecosystem.
