Are you fluent in German and passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences?

We're looking for a German-Speaking Customer Service & Sales Representative to support an internationally recognised airline brand. In this role, you'll assist passengers with travel-related enquiries, reservations and customer concerns, ensuring they receive professional and efficient support throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist German- and English-speaking passengers with travel-related enquiries before and after their flights.
• Handle incoming customer calls and written correspondence relating to reservations, travel arrangements and general customer service.
• Use airline reservation systems to access information, manage enquiries and provide accurate assistance.
• Respond to passenger complaints and resolve service issues professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of customer service while meeting agreed performance targets and KPIs.
• Communicate clearly with international customers, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
• Adapt to a dynamic contact centre environment where accuracy, efficiency and timely responses are essential.

Minimum Requirements

• Native-level fluency in German, with excellent written and spoken communication skills. Candidates with an advanced level of German may also be considered.
• Must be based in South Africa.
• South African citizens or permanent residence permit holders only.
• Strong computer literacy and technical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain composed and solution-focused when handling challenging enquiries.
• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• No criminal record.
• Previous customer service experience is advantageous.

Remote Work Requirements

• Contract: Permanent, full-time employment.
• Working Hours: 40 hours per week, on a rotational shift basis.
• Operational Coverage: 24/7, including weekends and public holidays.

To work successfully from home, candidates must have:

• A reliable fixed-line fibre or ADSL internet connection with a minimum speed of 20 Mbps upload and download.
• A fixed-line connection, as wireless internet solutions are not accepted.
• A UPS or suitable backup power solution to maintain internet connectivity during load shedding or other power interruptions.
