Job Description

The Tax Manager will support Tax agenda, acting as a Key Business Partner across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations and Commercial teams. This role will be responsible for providing technical expertise on Brazilian Tax matters, assessing Tax impacts of business initiatives, driving Tax-related projects and supporting compliance and reporting activities.

The position requires strong expertise in indirect taxation, solid knowledge of direct taxes and the ability to navigate across different tax disciplines while supporting Business Growth, regulatory changes and strategic initiatives, including the implementation of the Brazilian Tax Reform.

Responsabilidades:

  • Act as a trusted advisor on tax matters impacting business operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze and provide guidance on indirect tax matters, including ICMS, ICMS-ST, PIS/COFINS, IPI, tax incentives and special tax regimes.
  • Assess tax implications arising from commercial, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing and distribution activities.
  • Support tax analysis related to new products, pricing initiatives, business models and operational changes.
  • Monitor legislative changes and evaluate potential impacts on the organization, particularly those related to the Brazilian Tax Reform.
  • Support discussions involving Corporate Income Tax, tax reporting, tax provisions and Transfer Pricing matters.
  • Provide technical support on complex tax matters beyond routine compliance activities.
  • Coordinate and monitor the company's tax project portfolio.
  • Act as the important point of contact for tax-related projects and initiatives.
  • Support business and industrial projects, ensuring tax impacts are assessed and properly addressed.
  • Coordinate activities involving internal stakeholders, external advisors and legal counsel when necessary.
  • Track project milestones, risks, dependencies and action plans.
  • Prepare project updates and executive presentations for leadership teams.
  • Support tax reporting processes and ensure quality of tax-related information.
  • Participate in tax audits, inspections and inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Support tax compliance activities and ensure adherence to internal controls.
  • Collaborate with Global Tax and Finance teams on reporting requirements and tax initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, simplification and automation within the tax function.

Requisitos:

Accounting, Law, Economy or Business Administration;

Post Degree: Master or MBA in: Finance, Tax Management, Financial Controls, Tax Controversy;

Solid experience on Finance and Tax management, with at least 5 years in a team leadership position.

Strong experience in indirect taxation within multinational companies, consulting firms or large organizations.

Exposure to Direct Tax matters, including Corporate Income Tax and Transfer Pricing.

Experience managing projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
