The Operations Manager is responsible for leading the technical and operational support for well completion projects, with a strong focus on Liner Hanger systems and Completions technologies. This role serves as an operational authority, working closely with operations, engineering, sales, and customers to ensure safe, efficient, profitable and flawless execution of projects while driving service quality, operational excellence, and business growth
Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, and support the execution of Completions and Liner Hanger operations in both onshore and offshore environments.
• Provide technical support throughout all project phases, including planning, execution, troubleshooting, and post-job evaluations.
• Review completion programs, operational procedures, and customer requirements to ensure technical and operational readiness.
• Ensure proper selection, preparation, maintenance, and readiness of Liner Hanger and Completions equipment.
• Act as the primary technical interface between customers, field operations, engineering, and support functions.
• Participate in technical meetings, customer presentations, and service quality reviews.
• Support failure investigations, root cause analyses, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, company policies, industry regulations, and quality requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, cost reduction, and risk mitigation.
• Provide technical mentoring and training to field personnel and internal stakeholders.
• Support business development activities by identifying opportunities to expand services and strengthen customer relationships.
• Prepare technical reports, operational documentation, lessons learned, and performance analyses.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience in Completions and Liner Hangers operations.
• Strong knowledge of well completion technologies, including packers, running tools, sand control, safety valves and related completion equipment.
• Strong knowledge of Liner Hangers technologies, including hydraulic, mechanical, expandable liner hanger systems.
• Advanced knowledge of well completion planning, execution, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting offshore operations and working directly with customers.
• Experience with major oilfield service companies.
• Strong understanding of HSE practices, service quality standards, and operational risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and support multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in high-pressure operational environments.
• Advanced or fluent English.
• Availability for domestic and international travel as required.
