We are seeking a Contract Manager with 1–5 years of experience to support the drafting, review, and negotiation of customer-facing oilfield commercial contracts. This position supports sales, operations, and leadership teams by ensuring customer contracts are reviewed, negotiated, and executed efficiently, while managing risk and enabling business objectives. The successful candidate is comfortable working independently; partners directly with commercial stakeholders; and demonstrates sound judgment, proactive communication, and the ability to drive results while handling multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
· Review, draft, and negotiate customer contracts including MSAs, service agreements, NDAs, amendments, and related commercial terms
· Partner directly with sales and business stakeholders to understand objectives and provide practical contract support
· Identify legal and commercial risks, propose alternative language, and recommend solutions consistent with company risk tolerance
· Manage contract negotiations independently for low to moderately complex agreements, escalating issues as appropriate
· Ensure executed contracts align with internal policies, templates, and approval requirements
· Track contract status, key terms, and negotiation issues, while supporting timely execution
· Support continuous improvement of contract processes and templates
· Complete periodic workload and activity reports to support forecasting and resource planning
· Develop and deliver training, guidance, and presentations to internal teams and other stakeholders on contracting processes, key terms, and best practices
Required Qualifications
· 1–5+ years of experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation
· Ability to work independently on assigned contracts with minimal supervision
· Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with sales, operations, and customers
· Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
· Track record of achieving negotiated outcomes that support business objectives
· High proficiency in English speaking and writing, including contract redlining and business correspondence
